Choose A Life You Love ~
A Magazine About Writing
Your Own Narrative
December 2025 | Charity
The inaugural issue of Choose A Life You Love
This is not a normal magazine.
It's a fable about a woman learning to write her own story. It's journaling prompts to help you write yours. It's beautiful images designed to show you a life you might not live in yet—but could choose to look at anyway.
And it's an experiment in loving yourself enough to declare your own worth.
Here's what I mean:
Every magazine has advertising. Brands pay to be seen. Editors set the price based on circulation, demographics, influence.
Someone else holds the pen.
I wanted to know what would happen if I loved myself enough to hold it instead.
So I priced the ad slots at $1,000,000 each.
Not because I have a million readers. Not because the "market" says I can. Not because anyone told me that was reasonable.
Because this entire project is about one thing:
Because this entire project is about one thing: What happens when you love yourself enough to decide your own value?
***
I don't know if anyone will buy a slot.
That's not the point.
The point is that I declared it. I wrote the number down. I made the offer real.
And now I sit with it.
Sitting with it means:
The silence when no one buys. The mockery from people who think it's absurd. The discomfort of holding a number the world hasn't validated. The doubt that creeps in at 2am.
And still not crossing it out. Still not lowering it to be palatable. Still loving myself enough to stay.
That's the practice.
The same practice as the $8.5M lifetime contribution I calculated. The same practice as the $500 I add to my worth every day.
Declaring a number. Writing it down. Loving myself enough to sit with it.
Not waiting for permission. Not waiting for applause. Not waiting for someone else to say it's okay. Just loving what I've built enough to stay.
This magazine is me practising what I'm learning.
Out loud. Imperfectly. Transparently.
If you want to read the fable, you can see it woven through the ad slots below—freely shared, whether they sell or not. If you want the journaling prompts, they're here. If you want to see what it looks like to love yourself enough to declare your worth—and sit with everything that comes after—this is that.
What's inside:
A fable about a woman learning to love the life she's choosing
Reflections on this issue’s virtue: Charity (and why receiving is as important as giving)
Journaling prompts to write your own story
The Daily 4 — the deeper practice
Curated AI images designed to live in your space
And $1,000,000 ad slots that may never sell—but exist anyway
December's theme: Charity
Not donation tins and giving until you're empty.
Charity that flows both ways.
The kind that asks:
Can you receive as gracefully as you give?
Choose one or choose none.
But if you've ever declared your worth and had the world go quiet—
You're not alone.
I'm sitting with it too.
