“You look tired my love” said the man to his wife.

“All this coming and going and to-ing and fro-ing…I feel it’s taking a toll on you…would I be correct?”

The woman sighed and nodded her head with weariness.

“Can I take you away?” he asked.

Will you come away with me… just for a moment?

For a weekend?

With the two of us?”

The woman thought about it for a moment.

“What about the children?” she asked and her husband reassured her they were fine.

“What if I can’t get back and something goes wrong?” she continued and he re-assured her they would stay close to home.

“Besides…” he said. “We’ll take the noire la voiture~ it does 0-60mph in 2.3 seconds… if we need to get home for any reason at all, we can get there quick.”

The woman nodded.

“A weekend away does sound good…” she began… “But my love…I’m tired… the thought of choosing what to wear…..”

“What about that dress?” he suggested.

“The navy one you said doesn’t crease? And those cute little sandals you love? Throw them in a bag, add the bikini, and don’t worry about packing makeup. My love you look gorgeous without it anyway…just add some lip gloss and mascara and a bottle of 245 or Stonier if you need, and my love, we’re good to go.”

The woman nodded.

“You’re right..” she spoke gently.

“It will be good to get away...I need this…and you need this too. It’s been a tough week for both of us… thank you for considering this my love…. I would love nothing better than to go away with you for the weekend.

I love you.” she said.

“I love you too” said her husband.

“So very much.” ❤️
