Editorial Enquiries
If you would like to introduce a place, product, book, person, maker, project, business, experience or story that you think may belong within CALYL, please include:
- Your name
- The name of the business, person or project
- A brief introduction
- A website or social-media link, if applicable
- Why you think CALYL might love it
Sending something for consideration does not guarantee publication, but every genuine introduction is appreciated.
And please remember: you don't need to be a business to send us something you love.
If you discovered an incredible little café, read a beautiful book, met an extraordinary maker, visited somewhere wonderful or simply found something you think deserves to be seen, you're welcome to tell us about it.
Partnerships, Advertising, Gifts & Affiliate Enquiries
CALYL is open to thoughtful conversations about:
- Editorial partnerships
- Advertising
- Sponsored and paid publications
- Gifted experiences or products
- Affiliate opportunities
- Ambassador and brand relationships
- Content licensing
- Independent makers and local businesses
- Books, journals and creative projects
- Collaborations and other ideas we haven't thought of yet
We are open to commercial opportunities and would love CALYL to become a financially sustainable publication.
But our editorial rule is very simple:
Love leads.
A commercial relationship cannot buy the words “I love this.”
If we love something and a commercial opportunity follows, wonderful.
If we love something and there is no commercial opportunity at all, it can still belong here.
Any relevant commercial relationship will be clearly identified for readers.
You can read more about how this works in our Affiliate, Advertising & Commercial Disclosure.
A Small Note
Please don't send unsolicited physical products before contacting CALYL and receiving confirmation.
CALYL is independently created and managed, so replies may not always be immediate — but genuine messages will be read with care.
And whether you're writing with a business proposal, something you've made, somewhere you've visited, a correction, a suggestion or simply something you love...
Thank you for thinking of CALYL, and joining us in sharing the love.
Because of your love~ the world is a better place 🫶🩷🩵💛💜🫶
With love, always.
