Papercraft comes in all sorts of forms. Scrapbooking.... collages.... card making.... decoupage.... junk journaling.... handmade notebooks.... paper flowers.... and all the little creative projects that begin with an idea and nothing other than piece of paper!!! And I love that there isn't just one way to do it 🩷🩵💛💜 You don't necessarily need an expensive collection of craft supplies, a dedicated craft room or years of experience. Sometimes it's simply about trying something and seeing how it feels, however if you are someone who is like....yeah...ok....but I'm not really sure where to begin, then maybe starting with some CALYL journaling prompts is a great way to begin....and this one here is a perfect example! Simply print and cut the prompt and voila! You have already begun!! 😄 ## A Free Journal Prompt Our journal prompts are shared on the blog freely and with love, as a way for you to journal even if you don't have the affordability to purchase one of our printed or digital journals. You can save the prompt to Pinterest, use visuals to journal in your own way, write directly into any notebook, add it to your With Love \~ CALYL app, or print and scrapbook it. Whatever works best for you! Now onto today's journaling prompt!! If you want to print it simply "right click" save the image to your computer and then print out on your printer. Don't forget to scale to the size of your notebook page/scrapbook look before printing! ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/0e/77/0e77a451-73f7-4ccf-a65b-4fe71738d4ed/content/images/2026/11/choose-a-life-you-love-65.png) **CATEGORY:** Creative Activities **TOPIC:** Paper Crafts **Journaling prompt as follows:** I would/wouldn't like to try paper crafts because: --- --- My limitations are: --- --- I can overcome these by: --- --- There is no correct answer. You might already love scrapbooking or making things with paper. You might have a creative project you've always wanted to try. You might be interested in learning how to make a journal, create a collage, decorate a keepsake box or experiment with decoupage. Or perhaps you have no interest in paper crafts at all lol and that's perfectly ok! For me, I love the idea that a little collection of paper, pictures, words and ideas can become something worth keeping. And sometimes the loveliest part of a creative activity isn't what we make, but the possibility of discovering something we'd enjoy making in the first place. With Love, Always CALYL xo ❤️ ## Keep Your Creativity Close ❤️ **Love this journal prompt and want to explore the complete Creative Activities journal?** Make a little room for creativity on your bookshelf, coffee table or bedside.
